DESCRIPTION

Enable back-office users to efficiently search, sort, filter, and download manufacturer details to streamline the management process. The feature helps users locate specific manufacturers, refine lists based on various criteria, organize data for analysis, and export data in different formats (PDF, CSV, Excel) for reporting purposes.

Search Manufacturer:
Imagine Lina, a Call Center Executive, who needs to quickly locate a customer complaint regarding a billing issue. Using the Search Complaint feature, Lina can enter the relevant details and instantly retrieve the record, helping her provide timely updates to the customer.

Filter Manufacturer:
Imagine Chris, a CSO, who is tasked with analyzing complaints related to service outages in the last month. Using the Filter Complaint feature, Chris applies filters for Date Range, Complaint Type, and Utility Type to narrow down the results and focus on the required data.

Filter Manufacturer
To streamline a new asset procurement process, Mark filters manufacturers by “Country of Origin: USA” and “Asset Compatibility: Pumps.” The system instantly displays relevant manufacturers, helping Mark focus only on suppliers meeting these criteria.

Download Manufacturer list:
Imagine David, a CX Manager, preparing for a monthly performance review. Using the Download Complaint feature, David exports complaints as a CSV file filtered by Approved Status and shares it with the operations team for further analysis.

GOAL

The goal of this feature is to enable Call Center Executives to quickly search for specific complaints, empower CSOs/Call center executives/cx-manager to filter complaints for targeted analysis, and allow CSOs/Call center executives/cx-manager to download filtered complaint records in multiple formats (PDF, CSV, Excel) for efficient reporting and collaboration. This ensures a streamlined and effective complaint management process

MAJOR STEPS INVOLVED

  1. Search Manufacturer

  • The actor logs into SMART360.

  • Navigates to the “Manufacturer Management” section.

  • Enters a keyword (Manufacturer Name, ID, or Asset Type) in the search bar.

  • The system retrieves and displays matching results.

  1. Sort Manufacturer

  • The actor selects the sorting option (Alphabetical A-Z/Z-A or Date Added).

  • The manufacturer list updates dynamically based on the chosen criteria.

  1. Filter Manufacturer

  • The actor applies filters like “Country of Origin,” “Asset Compatibility,” or “Date Added.”

  • The system displays manufacturers matching the selected filters.

  1. Download Manufacturer

  • The actor applies necessary filters (optional).

  • Selects the download format (PDF, CSV, Excel).

  • The system generates a file with filtered manufacturer details and includes metadata like filters applied and report date.

BUSINESS RULES

  1. Search Manufacturer

  1. The search bar must allow queries using Manufacturer Name, Manufacturer ID, or Asset Type.

  2. A watermark in the search bar must display: “Search by Name, ID, or Asset Type.”

  3. Results must dynamically update as the search query is entered.

  4. If no results are found, display an error message: “No results found for your query.”

  5. Search functionality must work across all available pages.

2. Sort Manufacturer

  1. Sorting must include the following options:

    • Alphabetical (A → Z and Z → A).

    • Date Added (Newest → Oldest and Oldest → Newest).

  2. Results must dynamically update when sorting options are selected.

3. Filter Manufacturer

  1. Filters must include:

    • Country of Origin (e.g., USA, Germany).

    • Asset Compatibility (e.g., Pumps, Valves, Motors).

    • Date Added (From and To).

  2. Filters can be applied individually or in combination.

  3. Results must dynamically update when filters are applied.

  4. Display “No results found” if no manufacturers match the filters.

4. Download Manufacturer

  1. Users must be able to download data in PDF, CSV, or Excel formats.

  2. Downloaded files must reflect applied filters and include all visible columns.

  3. Metadata such as “Report Date” and “Filters Applied” must appear in the file.

  4. Appropriate success or error messages must be displayed for file generation.

  1. Results dynamically update based on applied filters.

  2. Multiple filters can be applied simultaneously.

  3. A “No results found” message appears if no data matches the filters.

4. Download Manufacturer
