USER STORY

As an Back-office users
I want to search for plants by specific criteria and download the results
So that I can quickly locate relevant plant information and use the data for offline analysis or reporting.

STORYTELLING

Anna, an inventory manager, needs to locate the details of all active solar plants in California and share them with her team. Using the Search Plants functionality, she enters the search criteria and retrieves the relevant data. She then downloads the results as a CSV file, which she uses to create a report for her team. This feature ensures accurate, shareable information in a time-efficient manner.

Enable users to quickly search and locate specific Plant and download the Plant data

PROCESS FLOW

 

 

MAJOR STEPS INVOLVED

  1. Log into SMART360.

  2. Navigate to the AX module.

  3. Click on the sub menu plant in the asset

  4. Click on the "Search" button.

  5. Enter search criteria

  6. Press "Enter" to initiate the search.

  7. The system displays matching results in the table view.

  8. If no matches are found, an error message appears.

  9. Click on the download button to download the data

BUSINESS RULES

  1. Only authorized users have access.

  2. Search parameter can be on Plant name and Plant ID

  3. Plant name and Plant ID Should be place holder.

  4. Upon search it should show the relevant result in the list view table

  5. If there is not relevant data then display the error message “Search not found”

  6. On clicking on the download button, it should provide a CSV file to the user which has the data in the list view with the column headers Plant ID, Plant Name, Remaining life, Units, Status.

  7. Download File name should be Name of the Utility_Plants_Date.

ACCEPTANCE CRITERIA

  1. The search bar is visible and functional in the Plant List View.

  2. Search results are accurate and displayed dynamically or after execution.

  3. User can download the data in CSV format
