Plan Creation Flow

Overview:

The Smart360 system allows users to create utility service plans through a structured 4-step wizard process. Each plan can include multiple utility services with their associated rates and charges


Step 1: Plan Details

In the first step of plan creation, the following details need to be entered:

  • Plan Name: Provide a descriptive name for the plan.
  • Short Name: Enter a short abbreviation or identifier.
  • Category: Select a category from available options (e.g., Commercial, Residential).
  • Sub-Category: Choose a relevant sub-category based on the category selection.
  • Billing Frequency: Specify how frequently the bill will be generated (e.g., Daily, Monthly).
  • Tax (in %): Input applicable tax percentage.
  • Contract Details: Select the relevant contract details.
  • Validity: Choose the validity period for the plan.

Step 2: Utility Services

Define the utility services associated with the plan. Each utility service has specific attributes to be configured:

  • Utility Service: Select a utility service (e.g., Water, Gas).
  • Rate Type: Choose a rate type from the available options.
  • Rate Name: Select a predefined rate name.
  • Avg Consumption: Enter the average consumption value.
  • Est Avg Consumption: Provide an estimated average consumption.
  • Est Avg Bill Amount: Enter an estimated average bill amount.

You can add multiple utility services as needed.

Step 3: Service Charges

Configure additional service charges applicable to the plan. For each service charge:

  • Service Charge: Provide a unique service charge name (e.g., Meter Mohit, GasType121).
  • Utility Service: Select a corresponding utility service.
  • Fee: Enter the fee amount.
  • Frequency: Choose the frequency of the service charge application.
  • Basis: Select the basis for calculating the service charge.
  • Operation: Specify the operation to be applied.

Multiple service charges can be added as required.

Step 4: Summary

The final step is a summary view to review the entered information before submission. It includes:

  • Plan Details
    • Plan Name: Sample
    • Short Name: SP
    • Category: Commercial
    • Sub-Category: Contract
    • Billing Frequency: Daily
    • Tax %: 12
    • Validity: 23 Jan 2025
  • Utility Service Details
    • Utility Service

After reviewing, you can finalize the plan by submitting it.
