Plan Creation Flow with Prerequisites

Prerequisites for Plan Creation

Before creating a plan in the system, several components must be set up:

Categories Setup

  • Define plan categories (e.g., Commercial, Residential).
  • Required for plan classification.

Subcategories Setup

  • Create subcategories within each category.
  • Provides more detailed plan classification.

Service Charge Types

  • Configure additional charges that can be applied.
  • Define charge names, basis types, and operations.

Rate Configuration

  • Define different rate types and structures.
  • Set up rate names that will be available for selection.
  • Specify the Effective Date and Expiry Date.
  • Choose from the following Rate Types:
    • Fixed: A set amount per billing cycle.
    • Variable: Rate changes based on factors like market price.
    • Per Unit Rate: Charge based on unit consumption.
  • View or edit rates using the View Rate option.
  • Additional actions:
    • Add Consent: Capture user consent where required.
    • Add Document Type: Define document categories for record management.
    • Add Document Sub Type: Further classify documents within each type.
  • Options available for each step:
    • Cancel to exit without saving.
    • Submit to save changes.
