Consumer Activation

3.3. Stage 3: Connection Process

  • Description:
    • The service connection is configured.
    • Meter details are associated with the consumer request.
  • Technical Details:
    • Endpoint:
    • Data Model:
    • Status: Changes from "APPROVED" to "CONNECTED".
  • Steps:
    1. Configuration:
      • UI: Navigate to "Connect" tab.
      • Fields: OwnershipType, MasterAccount (if applicable), MethodType, UtilityService, DeviceNo, MeterType (NA), MeterNo (NA).
      • Action: Fill in details and click "Connect".

3.4. Stage 4: Activation Process

  • Description:
    • The service is activated by recording the initial meter readings.
    • The consumer account becomes "Active".
  • Technical Details:
    • Endpoint: /account-services/nsc/nsodetails/{requestID}/activate (PUT request)
    • Data Model: ActivationData (includes utility services, first readings, reading dates, document uploads).
    • Status: Changes from "CONNECTED" to "ACTIVE".
  • Steps:
    1. Meter Readings:
      • UI: Navigate to "Activate" tab.
      • Fields: UtilityService, FirstReading, FirstReadingDate, Upload (document).
      • Action: Enter readings and upload documents.
    2. Activation:
      • Fields: Remarks.
      • Action: Click "Activate".
  • Important: Activation is only allowed for requests that have been successfully connected.
